Still your link does not mention any problems with the Nissan engine. You have nothing to back up your claim that you have "heard bad things" about that Nissan engine. Are you just a Nissan hater?

The user you quoted hasn't logged into the forums in 5 years.

OK. But how am I supposed to know the last time someone logged in? Maybe the forum should be divided into years, so that people can easily go to the latest discussions. I admit I failed to look at the date, but that question was near the top of the list, so I assumed it was recent. Sorry to bother you.

No bother; I'm just informing you that way you're not left expecting a response.
Just keep an eye on the date of the post you're responding to. I know you're new here, and I have no idea your experience with Forums, so I just want to ensure you're made aware.
Cheers!

If you use the search feature, every topic from the very beginning will show up, not matter how old. Best thing to do is just stick to the first few pages in each section, and the latest posts always bump the topics back to the first pages.

On the topic of an SUV with good fuel economy, I'm a relatively new owner of a 2015 Audi Q5 3.0 TDI, and my fuel economy numbers are impressive (see my profile for more details):
- Best tank: 40.74 MPG (US)
- Worst tank: 28.98 MPG
- 10-tank average: 34.79 MPG

Aside from the good fuel economy, it's reasonably roomy, has great drive feel, premium fit and finish, and an engine that delivers monstrous torque, doing 0-60 mph if 6.4 sec. That's muscle-car territory. I'm happy with it.

Sadly I think the original poster has long gone, his question dates back some 8 years, things have changed a lot since then

Yep, most of the questions on this forum are very dated. I'm out.
