Aptera Unveiled

Stolen from T_D_I club. The increase in supposed price and decrease in supposed mileage isn't much of a shock, but a 200mpg vehicle for ~$20 still isn't Tesla Roadster rich people expen$ive. It's a shame something nearly half a ton is only a single seater, but then again, the vast majority of trips in the states are single passenger. I'd like to see a lower slung design that's closer to a motorcycle than a car with the same drivetrain... 300mpg should be doable from something with a little more than half the reference area and a couple hundred pounds less weight. Damn, I'm playing desk jockey car designer again... I should go do something useful.

Because it is a three wheeler, it is considered a "motorcycle" and is exempt from automobile regulations.
