Anyone else notice

that traffic on the highway has been slowing down.
Since I drive the speed limit at 55 mph I have noticed that I'm still getting passed but very slowly. Most are driving at 60 mph or just under. A few months ago I would have been getting passed by vehicles running 65-70 mph.

traffic seems to have slowed everywhere I think. even I will admit, I used to fly myself. not too fast just 5 over. now I go speed limit or 5 under. I think the recent spike in fuel prices are really pushing peoples habbits in the right direction. I hardly ever give it WOT anymore. I think the most I give it once I am up to speed is about a qtr throttle.

I think it is a good thing. I heard a while back that because of demand that they were actually going to reduce gas prices. that was short lived because of some political excuse they came up with to raise prices again.
