I work in Berlin which is ~20 minutes south of Hartford.
Im in NYC Queens/Long Island area (FAR away) but am regularly in CT area, specifically Trumbull, Bridgeport area. How far is Hanover from Bridgeport, CT? My guess is thats its quite a trek.

Hanover is in NH about half way from the northern boarder of Mass and Canada - quite a hike for sure.

Hanover NH is 200 mi. each way, which would be about four hours for me.
Nearly $50 gas total.

How about somewhere on Boston's 495 loop?
Attleboro MA,where 495 crosses I-95, is about an hour for me.
That would be pretty good.

Framingham/Wooster is about 30 min north on 495 from Attleboro.
Or Waltham MA is about 30 min north on I-95 from Attleboro.
I'm open to suggestions...

Of course meeting at an event that involves cars or transportation would be cool too.

I went to Mystic when I was a child with a friend and absolutely loved it. Hartford is not too far from me.

What about somewhere on the I-91 corridor?

Don't know if a get-together ended up happening or not, and it's a bit cold for one now. But come the spring I'll gladly offer my place in West Hartford for one. There's room to hang out, and a backyard we can grill in, and a garage we can use to putter with our cars if people are so inclined.

On April 5th I'll be hosting a "Meeting of the Mad Scientists Union" at my place in West Hartford. See this thread for more info. You are all welcome to attend.
