Any members here with the new 2.7l four cylinder Toyota Sienna?
All-
Toyota have started selling the Sienna with either the six or the 2.7 four from the Camry.
While EPA's City MPG is 19...the highway actually comes in at 24, one MPG lower than the Toyota Six. I suspect different gearing and therefore a higher RPM for higway speeds?
Now, saying that, with past Toyotas including my longtime favorite 1992 Camry 2.2 wagon, the car got better FE than the EPA estimates (often breaking 30 MPG when driving between Nashville, TN and Chicago back in the day).
My main interest is the durabilty of Toyota fours Vs. sixes and ditto to gearboxes, but the economy is also of interest.
Thank you-
