Any FE info on Mazda Miatas?

So I'm thinking of buying a 1991 Miata.

Not that I need it, but I figure it would be fun to drive around for a few months and then sell when I'm done with it.

Last week I was at a poker tournament at a friend of a friend's house and noticed that he had a nice Miata sitting in the garage.

I asked him about it and he said he doesn't ever drive it and would sell it if someone wanted to buy it. So I asked him a few more questions and found out that it has 105k miles, has all the regular maintinence, and is in near perfect condition other than the rear window needs to be replaced (not that big of a deal).

Anyways, so he said he wants to get $2000 out of it but I'm sure he will take less.

I'm thinking about picking it up and driving it for a few months, then selling it.

I would think that it would get good milage because it has a small engine, is light, and is pretty aerodynamic. Does anyone have any info on what kind of FE these things can get??
