So the rumor of heating fuel to vapor is actually true! You could literally drive from Los Angeles to New York with a normal-sized tank. Now I wonder how much FE would be affected with normal driving conditions - but it does appear that a lot more heat to turn the fuel into vapor (reclaimed exhaust heat anyone?) would in fact work!
