If ya want a good deal on an HX you have to be ready to go when you see the ad. I saw an ad one evening, drove 150 mi. the next morning to go see it, and bought it. She had two people scheduled to see it the following afternoon so if I didn't go in the morning I'm sure I would have lost out on that car.
The seller "cooperated" in that she answered my email almost immediately and we were talking by phone shortly thereafter.
I arrived with $400 cash in pocket. After checking out the car I put the $400 down to clinch the deal, then went to a local branch of my bank to get the rest of the money. That way the seller was happy and so was I.
