I tend to vary between either a buzzed 'do or long hair. Because I'm lazy and both are low-maintenance Though the transision from one to the other is definitely easier in one direction only.

Coincidentally (?) both pics were snapped when sailing.



Me on the left, a couple of years ago, rigging a catamaran my friend Ivan and I rebuilt.



And I swear I wasn't posing for this one! Taken this summer sailing the schooner.

I grow out to stubble and then stop. It NEVER gets any longer than that. Shaving once a month is awesome, however.

Maybe we have post-traumatic hair disorder or something.

Only one I can find on this computer. Picture was taken in July on the Kenai river in Alaska. Fish is a 56 pound king salmon. (

Nice one. I caught one about that size up the Russian river a few years back (fish that is).
