Sweden calling !
Finally I´ve found you.
Now driving a Nissan Micra, usually around 58mpg or above. Record is still 64mpg on a 100km trip, speed 85km/h.
About the micra sideviewmirrors is gone, antenna gone, wipers gone, rear high spoiler gone. Made several test with or without these things but at least you can see some kind of difference on the calculation.
Also tried out more narrow tires like 115/70-16 instead of 155/80-13, shown on the picture, but nothing in diference, maybe more friction rubber.
Always calibrate km due GPS.
Before this car i drove a Toyota Corolla. Inside I got a small glastank of 2 Liter that could be filled with el. pump, this glastank was the tank of the engine and you really ligthed upp your right foot seeing all the fuel go away so quickly. The tank was in first place to easy and pretty close calculate
L/100km. Finally I could not stand the smell anymore.
Aerodynamic was quite similar to the Nissan.
Record for this car was 69mpg, 100km trip and at speed 60km/h.
If one gallon i 3,785 L. I have now changed it to mpg.
