proud new owner 92 civic 3dr vx

hey everyone i just went from a neon srt4 to a civic vx..... alot of missed power but the gas mileage is worth every bit of horsepower lost. used to be a big honda person but i am farmiliar with the 2.3 and 2.2 not so much the D15Z1. having a stutter problem at cruising speed i hear that alot of these vx get this problem other than that its a great car and i love driving it cause i feel like im in a go cart oh and i get about 40mpgs thats pretty cool

Gettin' lucky in Ketucky... Congrats on the great find!

Whenever I get a new car I usually like to do a full tune up after a month of driving it and getting a feel for it. That way I can feel out some of the issues and see if a simple tune up will fix it.

If you're use to the 2.3 & 2.2 I assume you're talking about the H-series found in preludes? Well there's so many similarities between the H & the D's. The learning curve will hit quick.

i'm actually impressed with the power of my vx, for a 1.5L car. the stutter is probably the 02 sensor.

02 sensor

WOW excellent deal on the O2, I paid 350$ for mine. And that fixed the stutter issue

thanks for replying. i hope its the 02 because i will hate myself for paying that much and it not being it. i also hear that the plugs could cause this hesitation.
