My husband and I recently bought a 2014 Chevrolet Equinox LT. 2.4L and FWD. We're averaging 25 mpg which according to info on this site it really good for our vehicle.

Hello and welcome. Pretty good for a gasoline SUV, what put you off the diesel? You would get a minimum of 28% better economy, I'm assuming it's the extra purchase cost.

Nevermind, I just realised the diesel has only just become available in the US! Still, couple of fuelly users getting 42-46 US MPG, that's pretty good for an SUV.
