I really like Alberta -- and Canada in general (Calgary and Banff is great). The challenge you'll face, though, is adverse temps. Closer to 15-20C you'll see better rolling resistance and improved engine operation, but when Winter comes around, you'll probably want to keep the engine compartment as warm as possible: Engine block heater, grille block, hotter thermostat, check tire pressures often, etc. The vehicle's ECU is essentially more efficient at those temps.
