Newbie Here!

Hello every one, I just stumbled onto this page by chance and I hope to contribute to the effort as well as gain some knowledge in making my car more fuel efficient. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Be sure to make a garage entry so we can see what you drive. if you start using the gas log as well you can see what your base line is and start improving from there. Welcome!

I saw your garage entry - good!
Put in there if it's an automatic or standard tranny. That makes a difference when discussing driving technique.

Currently getting +/- 50 mpg in fall weather. EPA is 31/39 so not too shabby. WAI, fuel cutoff switch, full belly pan, smooth wheel covers.

Now driving '97 Civic HX; tires ~ 50 psi. '89 Volvo 240 = semi-retired.
