hondas seem to be very abundant here.

there should be quite a bit of knowledge to soak in. (general and honda specific)

The best way to get the hang of MPG is to fill your tank and reset your odometer at every fill up. Keep a log of how you drove with the average outside temperature noted.

there are other options out there though they are mostly DIY style.

he could always go the route of the good ole fashioned vacuum gauge. if nothing else, it gives you an idea of where you are
