I have several cars. My Primary is a 96 Plymouth Voyager (love minivans :-)

My Dream is anything that runs solely on batteries :-) I want an Electric car in the worst way.

I love trying to wring out the best MPG from my vehicles. Ethanol has not helped 14-25% cut in economy in all my cars from it :-(

I plan to aeromod my Voyager and I also have an idea to install an AWD rear axle direct drive this to an electric motor with a simple on off relay switch. Hit the button get an electric boost requiring less "gas" from the ICE to get going. Poor Man's Hybrid :-) In theory I should be able to do this for under $500 if I can find a donor electric forklift ala the Forkenswift project I drooled over :-)

$100 for the rear axle assembly $108 for enough junkyard batteries to give me a 72v pack (I can get better batteries after I know it works) and whatever the Motor costs me :-) In theory this could be a $300 upgrade if I can get a Motor for nothing :-)

I like Rocketry Reading Computers and Second Life. Ideas bound Funds do not :-)
