New to Fuelly

Hello fellow Fuellies (?),

I just sized up in the car world due to having a child. Went from a 2007 Honda Civic Coupe 5-spd, to a 2015 Honda CR-V with the CVT. In my Civic I got up to about 38 mpg at one point but towards the end it dropped to low 30s due to more city driving with hills in the way. I now have a fancy gauge that tells me how I am doing which is nice, but it resets when I fill up a new tank and reset the trip odometer. I was getting over 34 but now in the 33 range on the current tank. Just downloaded the app so that will be nice to use.

Not sure if it will be possible, but I would love to see my car get over 40 to the tank once, but that is asking a lot, unless I can drive a flat stretch with a tailwind.

I will be reading some of the hypermiling forums to get some tips.

Thanks for having me! (not that you had a choice...)
