New Member - Back-up question

Hi,
I'm looking forward to many years of aCar use.
I'm a recent transfer from an app called Car Maintenance.

I have started moving my cars over. But I'm interested to know if anyone has used the Google or SD back-up feature recently from a phone reset.

I was burned by my previous app where the feature stopped working and many years of data was lost when I had to reset my phone.

So before I pony up the unlock $'s it would be nice to confirm someone has used it recently.
There are a few reviews in the last 2 months suggest it isn't working.
