Smile New here !

Hi just thought I'd pop in and say "Wow!"
Y'all have quite the site and I have quite a lot to learn by the looks of it .

I do a daily 80 mile round trip commute and well it gets expensive !! Hoping to change that with a lil knowledge . My car is an 07 Ford Focus and it isn't broken in yet (1150 miles on the odo) . My goal is to meet the sticker mpg - if I beat it even better !! . I've been recording my mileage since mile 1 and its sitting at 32.4 mpg(and still climbing ) just 15% to go !

Anywho , thanks for having me here .

Welcome

Welcome to GasSavers

What kind of Focus do you have (Sedan, 5-speed, etc)?

I'll say from driving a few that they have great potential.

Take a look at the Busted/Confirmed Mods Stickies, and for more advanced technique, look in the FETC challenge forum with what those guys are trying.

With your car, you should realize an improvement in no time

Best FE,

RH77

Welcome aboard! Are you in Minnesota by chance? And yes, you should be able to easily pass the sticker MPG. Be sure to fill out your gaslog, garage, and Frappr map.

Informative *and* friendly ! Gotta love it !!

Details on the car : ZX3 (2 door hatch), 2.0 Duratec ,5 speed (3.82 final drive ...3.42 is available though and not too tuff to change),2.5" catback exhaust (dealer option! wooohooo!!!),15" alloy wheels . Its my second Focus and yes they have much potential . Did the first oil change today & just sticking with Motorcraft 5w20 for now .
<---Quick location edit for TomO
