New here!
New to posting anyhow. Been sifting the site for awhile. My name is Doug and I live in the southeast. After getting rid of my lifted 4x4 monster I wanted a more fuel efficient car and after some research have my eyes set on the VX! Don't know if I'll get one, but with whatever I end up with I look forward to becoming an active member on this site. I think GasSavers is awesome and very informative, everyone keep up the good work it sure is appreciated!

Re: New here!
Welcome to the site. I'm sure everyone here, especially the moderators, appreciate the kudos.
The VX is a great way to go. I wish you luck finding one in good condition. You may have an easier time than most, if you're out of the rust belt.

take a gander at our top ten http://www.gassavers.org/garage/topten and you'll find no VXs. not to say it's not a great choice, but there are other great choices out there. good luck!

Re: New here!
bowtie-
though none of the top 10 are VXs, 4 of them have the D15Z1 motor in them which is the VX motor.
many of these guys have taken the best of several different cars and put them together. the good example being the CRX with the VX motor in it.

Re: New here!
true, but my idea still stands. you don't NEED a VX...other vehicles and/or a VX motor are just as capable and likely easier to find.
