New 92 VX Owner

Hey all,
Just picked up a 92 Civic VX today off of Craigslist in VA $1000 One owner, clean interior, very minor rust above rear wheels, needs a clutch master. Even has the original VX rims. Owner said she didn't have a clue how popular the car was when she placed the ad. She got 7 or 8 calls while I was looking at the car. Looking forward to picking up some good tips on keeping it going as long as possible. Hope my 94 Metro XFI doesn't get too jealous of the new arrival.

I saw that ad was tempted, but figured it would sell too quickly for me to drive 2.5 hours to get there. How many miles?

regards
gary

Told approx. 200k on the phone, was actually 275K. in person. The one owner thing sold me. They've kept up the maintance, runs good, figured I'd go for it. I drove 1 3/4 hr. to see/buy it yesterday & returned today to pick it up. Another guy got there about 2 min. before me but only wanted to give $700. I told her I'd give her the asking price of $1000. Glad she didn't want to wait for other offers. She mentioned some guy called from Illinois about it last night.

VX's are cheap and plentiful now. I'd hate to be one of the people that paid $3000+ a couple months ago...

Good find! Good luck with that motor though 275k miles...
