Just Another Noob

Hello everyone,

I've been registered here for a while, but I'm finally making my intro. I'm a Mechanical Engineering student at the University of Wyoming. I've always had an interest in all things mechanical, especially cars. Fluids and Thermo are my favorite subjects, so you?ll probably find me on the aero board. I have a 1998 Ford Escort that with good driving techniques (thanks to a scan gauge II) I get about 37-38 mpg out of on the highway. I want to do some mods to it, but I haven?t really had time. I?m a non-traditional student (read: old and married), so play time on the car is almost non-existent.

Anyway, I?m really surprised by the technical expertise here and I can?t wait any longer to get involved. Thanks for letting me play in your sandbox.
