I'm baaaacckkk

Okay, so after a couple year hiatus I am back in action on the forum!! Hopefully some old friends are on the forum. I'll be looking for ya.

This spring I decided that I needed to find a small economical commuter car to go to school and work and save the Honda s2000 for fun days. I started my search for something a little different but from the same factory. I have wanted this car since before the s2000 and it has always been dear to my heart but not economically feasible.

So I went to craigslist to find a bargain...and that I did. I found this at a dealership with only 39k miles on the clock, a one owner, "little old lady" story. She traded in this 2000 Insight and a 2002 CR-V both with low miles on it. She must have just used them for grocery getting and church on sundays. I flew out to Cleveland, OH from Dallas, TX to pick this sweet thing up on 4/21/2010

On the way back home on 4/22/2010 Earth day no less I was planning on seeing old friends from college in Evansville (where I found this forum and started with my 96 Civic LX) to Texas taking my time on the way back. I am pleased to report that over 1490 miles I burned a little less than 23 gallons of fuel for a 65 mpg average

Haha, not bad for a 10 year old perfectly stock car and normal highway speed driving!

@Joe Bob - I mistakenly found this road somewhere in Southern Indiana on the 2nd day of my trip. I was trying to save some time, hit some road construction at a 4 way stop, waited for too long to turn left to I tried going straight ahead and seeing where the road would take me...It ended up going north so and I ended up doing a double back and going back to the 4 way stop and waiting my turn to go anyway. It was a beautiful way to get lost though.

@Project - I payed $8900 +tax for this beast
