I Had To Join!

This was practically a personal invitation for me to join this site http://www.gassavers.org/articles/au...or-gas-mileage
It describes me almost to a T. I'll post more about me and my cars later. Until then, Hello!

Part 2:
Hello again. I first heard about this site when a member of DSMTuners.com posted a link to this site. The comment they made was something like,' check it out, they're just as nuts about FE as we are about speed!' It caught my attention because I've been pushing my car (a 1990 Plymouth Laser RS) to better FE for several years already, as well as tuning it for more power. So far my best tank was 39mpg. I found it encouraging that I'm already using some of the techniques you promote, so I guess I'm on the right track. I've also learned a few new tricks since I've been browsing this site, like raising tire pressure up to the recomended max, and reducing electrical loads.

I hope to contribute where I can and to learn even more than I already have, and maybe even break the 40mpg barrier!

Hey Dave!

39mpg in a Plymouth! That's something to brag about. Be sure to enter your car in the garage and track your fuel consumption here. It's a friendly little competition among us

Anyway, glad to have you aboard. From the sounds of it you'll be a great addition to the site.

Welcome!

Hey it's good to see a DSM vehicle here (one of the first, I believe).

Take a look at the Busted and Confirmed Mods thread to get an idea of where to tinker. We're always testing new ideas and welcome them. Also, feel free to ask us any questions - we're here to help!

Best Motoring...

Welcome to our second home! With all of the info here, you should be at 40 mpg in no time at all.

Welcome to the site. My friend has a laser. Headroom in the backseat is a little low for me

I think there might be some people on this site who are more nuts.
