Hey, I'm new...

to the forums and to Hondas

I found this site while looking up stuff about saving gas last week.
I just got my '97 Honda Accord EX last friday (10/20/06) moving up from a '91 chevy lumina.

I love my accord, I needed something that got really good gas milage and would last a long time, so I knew honda was for me. I drive 100 miles a day to work so I've already drained a whole tank and I'm exited to report 30MPG (with expectatios of getting higher through the help of GasSavers.org)

I guess thats all.

thanks for reading.

Bienvenidos!

Glad to see you here. Your starting MPG is great and your garage already has lots of nifty plans afoot!

I used to commute between Alabama (Muscle Shoals) and Nashville when doing TVA work, and another friend travels from Nashville to Widdow's Creek daily.

Welcome!

Hey there, welcome to the site and good luck!

You should be able to do better, just push yourself! What's your commute like?

umm... I can't remember (the garbage ran this morning) but I'm pretty sure it was the offbrand O'Rieley part.

SVOboy, my commute is about 51 miles one way. 95% highway (guessing)
some of it is pretty flat, and some hills. on my way home I have about 2 miles of steep mountain to climb (I try to go easy on that part) I really want a scangauge so I can see what my MPG drops too. but on my way too work I get to go down it, so maybe that helps alittle? hehe
