I have parts pulled from a EG SI hatch to swap the rear drums in my VX for disc. Not sure when I'll have time to do the swap, but I can say that the 13" VX wheels do clear the SI rear brakes.

the good thing about the vx rims clearing the rear disks is that some drag racers use them in back for skinnys and hx in front with slicks. who knew honda made drag rims!! gotta love it

Welcome to GS! Nice to see a long time VX owner. Please post up some pics of your VX. (or after all your mods are done ). Would it work any better if, and when your engine goes, you but a civic hx enigine and tranny in these little hatches?

I won't promise this, but I'll definitely provide general feedback and info. What I have from the donor SI EG hatch is:

master cylinder
brake booster
proportioning valve
rear trailing arms with hubs, rotors, calipers, parking brake cables & rubber brake lines attached

BTW, there are a number of DIY tutorials on Civic drum to disc swaps already posted on the WWW, Google and you shall find...
