the truck is the 2.2L gets about 25 adverage city/highway
the chevette has a 1.6L fully carbed. currently my chevette gets 28mpg but thats driving it in the winter...i havent had it running long enough in the best possible condition to get a good adverage. that and i still got some tweaking to do.
yes the North American Chevette is a take off the opel kadett and the vaxhaul chevette. they made them for the us since 1976-1987 but continued making them for mexico and other south american places until mid 1990's. (looked like a ford tempo in the 90's)
the north american chevette is well a box...not the greaest aerodynamic thing in the world( i would know wind is my biggest fear while driving it

a chevette would come out if a Corivette and a Chevelle had a baby...
