You're not most, I think only you and compaq are seriously worried about power band, but at least you've conditioned your build, or al least what you've told me about it, to still be able to get 40mpg.

powerband has a lot to do with fuel economy. By repositioning the powerband to 1000-2500rpm you will get more torque there and have to use less fuel.
If you look carefully go navy my critism was in response to SVOboy's response. I didn't attack you personally, I just stated the facts. You blew this out of proportion by complaining, especially in Cleanmpg.com

If I knew you wanted the I4 accord hybrid I wouldn't have critizied you.

OK so you have admitted that you criticized someone. From the quote above, that criticism must have been aimed at Gonavy because as far as I know, SVOboy has expressed no interest in buying an Accord Hybrid.
But regardless of who your criticism was aimed at, please don't forget why we are here.... to help others get better FE, regardless of what vehicle they own.

I know he's here to get better FE, we are all here for the same goal. The subject wasn't that his car gets bad mileage, the subject was that it's overpriced and uses a v6
I don't blame him, I blame Honda.

Are you serious??? I'll still take the camry!!!!!!!!!
Pump up the tires, do some weight reduction and go easy on it and it will get 25 city/35 freeway, maybe even more.
The car has potential. Did you know the IS350 uses the same exact engine but the compression is raised and it has direct injection. A 30mpg car that's high 13's, a lot of potential.

did it look like i was joking? i dont understand. you can do the same thing to the accord and get more. circle argument? you still havent gotten back to the points addressed.
why bother with a car that gets 30mpg and only high 13s. there are cars that get 30mpg highway and run mid-low 12s.
also complaining isnt the word i would use to describe that post.

yeah 30mpg highway and 15mpg street. I drive mostly street. You can't do the same thing to the accord. The hybrid system only makes it accelarate 5.8 sec 0-60mph. It's easy to get 30mpg highway on most cars, it's the street that matters. Before I even started this gig I was at 28mpg highway. Now I'm at 40mpg highway, it does diddly since I drive mostly on the street.
Now I got to go away for a few days. One of my classes is so hard I have to study day&night so I could pass the final.
