Hello Everyone,Glad I came across your site,since I am looking for ways to get better gas mileage and wanted to learn what worked and didn't work.I have a 86 Chevy Caprice Estate Wagon with a Olds 307 and 200 4R trans.I unfortunately had the factory 4 barrel carb off since a friend said he could rebuild it,it was a electronic carb. I put a Edelbrock carb on it and had a huge drop in gas mileage. So now the plan is to go to a junkyard and get another one ,have it put back on. I'm also thinking about making a cold air intake for it.
