Found a crack in the boot

I have a BMW 4 series and I found a crack in the boot and this causes the air to enter the engine. This, excess unmetered air causes for rough running and other performance issues in my car. I just need to replace the intake boots and hoses on my car now and I started searching on this. Today, I found a store in Edmonton(Apex automotive service) and I look their reviews also. I think it’s not bad, but before going there I like to know anyone had any experience over working with them. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Hi,

Surely if it is a 4 series then it is still under warranty? They have only been around for a couple of years.

I'd be taking it back to the dealer if I was you.

P.S. The introductions might not have been the best place for this question. Try posting agina in the General Maintenance and Repair section, you might get a few more responses.

Oliver.
