Civic VX, tuning the d15z1 VTEC E

Hello All, I have been getting excellent fuel economy from this d15z1 engine but it's leaking a bit of oil from the valve cover gasket and from the distributor o ring. I'm going to replace those and possibly the vtec solenoid gasket. It is running great and idles exceptionally well but I'm thinking that while I'm in there I should check and adjust the valves if they can use it. I'll probably replace the timing belt and water pump. Does anyone have tuning tips, especially regarding the VTEC E? and especially regarding adjusting the valves? Any info is greatly appreciated!!!
