Trip Rec Location

I'm trying to use aCar Trip Record to capture mileage on trips. When I tap on the light bulb icon next to Location I get a pop-up "Please wait while finding the current location..."

I assumed this would enter the current GPS location. However, it seems it's only recognizing preset locations? (e.g. Home or others entered in the app).

Is this correct, or should it be finding the actual current location? I would really like it to find actual GPS location/address and record mileage to the next point for business mileage tracking.
