How to make donarcode in aCar stick?

I am a really oldtime user of aCar and use the old donarcode system since I was a donar.
However my aCar app forget the donarcode all the time, making the app almost unusable to me since so many functions stop working when not pro any more.

Is there anything I can do to make the code stick? Or is there any way to convert the old donarcode activation to the newer google store activation?

I truly love this app and use it as main system to keep track of costs for my vehicles.
