Calculations are wrong

So recently, I entered a fill up for my truck, and when I looked at the calculated mpg there is no way it calculated it correctly. Trip miles were 223.1. Data requested is miles since last fill-up. Cost per gallon was entered, at $2.669.

Total gallons was 16.710. now someone please explain to me how 16.710 gallons used in 223.1 miles calculated to 22mpg, which is what fuelly is trying to tell me.

It's because you marked your fill prior to that one a "partial" so it takes that fill into account. I would just delete that partial one.

Yup, I figured as much. OP missed a vital detail in his computation.

Obviously, the calculations are wrong but we can solve the issue.
