Android Notifications Stopped - summer 2023

I recently noticed that my car was overdue for service, and that caused me to realize that I hadn't received any Android Notifications from aCar for a little while. Probably a couple of months?

So I looked at the various settings:
aCar Settings: "Status Bar Notifications" is ON
Android Settings->Apps & Notifications->aCar->Notifications is all ON

I then noticed that Android was showing that aCar was averaging "~0 notifications per week", which implies that aCar isn't sending notifications, not that Android is suppressing them.

My wife recently added her car to aCar (on her phone, same account: we're in sync) and we are speculating that may have been the timing of when mine stopped sending notifications? (not certain of this, but possible)

Any ideas?

I notice that we *added* the second car to aCar in December 2022. Which is long before aCar stopped sending notifications.

My wife doesn't want notifications from aCar (her car does this for her) so she turned them off in HER settings. So we're speculating that somehow her adjusting the settings on her phone migrated the setting to my phone?

I have the same issue. Very frustrating, I've been using this app for 13 years now and would love to keep using it.

Got a new phone last Thanksgiving and I don't remember it ever sending alerts. When I look at the app settings in Google it says that this app does not send notifications.
