Restoring Data to v3.x

I've used Gas Cubby since at least 2010 and all my service records for six vehicles are tied up in this app.

While I could rant for quite some time about the way this was handled, I won't take the time to do that here.

I've seen numerous comments and processes about restoring data from the links provided. I have the link(s) but not a single comment about restoring in v3.x. There are instructions for 2.7.x but since Fuelly so kindly updated the app without warning I don't have a single device with 2.7 remaining.

I have the paid app (now 3.x) with numerous backup links over the years.

QUESTION:
What are the specific steps for restoring data to the v3.x app from the links provided?
VERSION 3 PLEASE - after the forced upgrade, 2.7 instructions are no longer of any value.

v3.0.8 should now be available to you in the app store. It will allow you to re-run the migration. Here's a step-by-step:

v3.0.8 solved the migration problem. Now the app is working perfectly!
