Something similar happened to me as well. Ended up with some entries (rows) with km turned to miles and litres to gallons, while other entries remained metrical. None of the tips I found helped (sync again with different unit setting etc). Couldnt get it back to correct units.
I ended up exporting everything to csv (130+ rows, 4 cars) and performing some excel magic on it. Took me an hour or so but everything is now back as it should. Right now I have to find a way to put the data back. Considering importing into Fuelly or another app.
