I downloaded the latest update for Gas Cubby this morning (10-16-14) and the icon is still missing/broken. Lines and circles on a white background is what it looks like still.

I have an iPad 2, and too have this issue. It started after the first Gas Cubby update after iOS 8. I also did the update this morning to 2.7.1 but the missing icon still exists. I previously tried deleting and reinstalling the app, but it had no affect. I haven't tried this since the newest update.

I'm seeing the same thing with iPad 2, iOS 8.1, Gas Cubby 2.7.1 (both free and paid versions).

All the icons have been rebuilt and should be restored come the next update.

Thank you very much for your reply. I appreciate it. I assume this next "update" will be the one that brings everything together, once and for all. Hmmm. That may not be a fair question. Onward and upward.

I'm not sure if we'll have another minor update before the 3.0 update.
If I hear something, I'll be sure and post to let you all know.

I had this problem, too, and deleted and reinstalled the app, thinking that might fix it. Instead, the app is now partially installed on my iPad Air 2 (iOS 8.1.1) and cannot be installed or deleted. I'm hoping your next update will not only resolve the icon problem, but also delete the older version of the app when the new version is installed.

Try a hard reset of your device. http://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201559
Then try reinstalling the app.
