Error in Calculating Average consumption

There seems to be some error in calculating average consumption. This happens when there is a partial fill-up between o2 full tanks. The app calculated the average by dividing the total distance covered between the last two consecutive fills ( not the entire distance between partial fill and full fill) ups by dividing by total fuel consumed. This results in absymally low average figures.
