Twin Battery Set-Up for F1 Hybrid Cars

This is an interesting video, I thought I share.

In the past number of years the F1 cars leaked engine oil into the cylinder head so that they could use it as fuel since fuel consumption is limited to 105kg per race. That practice was banned for this year and now they are only allowed to burn through 0.6L of oil / 100km. My car burns about 0.4L / 1,000km which is on the high side, but normal for big displacement engines. Turbo engines always burn more oil though than naturally aspirated ones.

Now it seems like they are getting shady about the batteries.
