Mounting towing bar near hybrid/electric: cautions?

What are the key considerations and potential challenges one should be aware of when mounting a towing bar near a hybrid or electric vehicle, especially for individuals with no training or experience in handling hybrid/electric vehicles?

Most hybrid / electric vehicles do not recommend to have towing bars installed on them. Having said that, I installed a hitch on my hybrid car and never had any issues. The installation is the same as any other vehicle, power comes from the 12V battery and you either splice or have a plug in kit to connect to the tail lights. All the circuits that you deal with is 12V and won't kill you, just don't touch the orange wires because they are high voltage. e trailer has all the installation videos on YouTube on how to install their product to any car.
