Thank you. Yes someone took care of it, it has been serviced every 10,000 miles at the same Honda dealer every year. Only 3 owners from new.

Yeah, looks spot on! Glad to hear she's insured already, you'll be able to drive her then?

From Tuesday onwards yes. Would have been nice to go for a spin this bank holiday weekend, but I can't justify the extra £60 insurance hike, imagine how far I could drive on £60

That is really fine looking. It looks almost showroom new. You'll have a lot of fun with it. Looking forward to hearing all about it as time goes along.

Congrats on your Honda...
It's obvious you like to play with fuel efficient vehicles.
Nice hobby.

Thanks. I've always been someone who likes to make the most of what I've got, if there's one thing I hate it's excess, things that are excessively big, heavy, energy/fuel consuming. Almost everything we use daily can be reduced in size, weight and it will therefore be more energy efficient and have less environmental impact.

Thanks. Well I've probably done about 150 miles since Tuesday, just been learning the way the IMA system operates and trying to utilise the battery power when needed. The actual battery condition might be better than initially thought, it's performing well, charging up, then using that to boost the car up hills, and when in low gears driving about town etc. I'm not going to rush into any expensive work on the battery just yet, although it's obviously not 100%, it's working as it should just fine, but I'll be keeping an eye on the capacity and the way it charges etc. Averaging about 65-70 MPG thus far, 75 on a short run yesterday. It's a fun little car, handles pretty well as there's a bit of weight behind the drivers seat with the battery etc, seems quite well balanced. Can throw it into the bends pretty confidently, you just have to watch the grip, you can feel it starting to go on the eco tyres! Really divides opinions, what we call a marmite car here, you either love it or hate it. Kind of feel like those shallow enough to judge it by the looks are missing the entire point, but hey, it's hard trying to explain the cool technical things to someone who only cares about the way something looks. Couple of pics

Cool photos, especially the second one. I love anywhere that you can see nice water though.
