I was googling around to find out whether the ScanGauge
measures or
calculates fuel rate (GPH). I'm very interested in fuel rate, in addition to instant MPG readings. I did not find my answer. If it has to calculate GPH, then that display isn't going to help me.
However, while searching, I found where someone had asked how they could know if their car was in DFCO mode or not, and I found

Would that really work? Is there some graceful way I could do it (say, for example, using a plug instead of tapping a wire) that won't raise any suspicions if I bring my car in for a warranty claim?
It sounds like it might interfere with injector operation; I imagine those wires carry high-precision pulses and an alternate current path would mess with that.

love to have a LED that tells me when my car is in DFCO mode...
