EDIT: too bad the display will not show MPG readout for a 1997 ford ranger

ScanGauge will help your MPG's a lot. I wish I'd gotten mine for that price but would have cost more to drive without it waiting for a better price.

My experience with SG is it reads MPGs too high. It is not accurate. I use it as a relative indicator rather than an absolute one.
