I don't drive that much just basically in the city. It's the spring I tend to go fishing and such a little more. Tend to drive to a lake some are 45kms away some a little further. I am saving a huge amount of money. -27 plug it in and it starts on gas but goes on electric quickly. 5 liters per 100kms. I have had a toyota echo and the elantra and yaris. When it is that cold it's 16 liters per 100kms. Only a km and a bit for coffee so a lot of that was warming the car. Once a week was about 24 liters of gas. Last fill up was 400kms at 18 and 22 liters. Since my trip to Terrace I have only filled up the car 3 times. November Denember and January in bitter cold The next fill up will be probable the middle of February. So that for me at 1.44 a liter saved me 380 dollars roughly
I know what it is but don't know much about it. I just bought a Honda Ridgeline so not really a mpg vehicle. But I may read a bit more just to know a bit more. I just try to drive carefully and I do ok on mpg, especially since 90% plus is driving local under 40mph and within a 3 mile radius, often 2 miles.

We are getting into -30 for lows the next few days. It's horrible for mpg. UI just drove 420kms 2 cold spells on 14.8 liters of gas. I am out to the store etc. Just like that idea and if it comes to regular gas I would on the Elantra having 3 sill ups at 14 liters per 100Kms
