Thumbs up Did Compaq888 see the light and buy a ScanGauge?!?

He has seen the light! I'm surprised nobody else picked up on this after all the resistance to the SG idea...

I'll have to test some of those theories when I get a SG2.
And then last night, he wrote...

Went to pick up my cousin. SG2 reported 44.4mpg for the trip there and back.
Is this for real, or am I hallucinating (again)?

in the thread where he mentioned his 1st gear feeling short he mentioned that he gets better mpg at 35mph than at 30mph. the only way to really know for sure is with the sg.

It became painfully clear that without some kind of instrumentation I wasn't going to get any better than 42mpg. I could of done some engine off coasting but that ain't my thing.

Instead I got the scangauge. On my 42mpg tank I hit the halfway mark at 280miles. Now with the scangauge for the last 70 miles I hit halfway mark at 300miles. I'm sure I'll be pumping out 44-45mpg tanks in no time.

P.S. you could use the 1st sentence of the 1st paragraph for sig material. All hail SG2
