This may be a n00b question to some of you old timers in this category, but since many of you appear to be pretty meticulous about data collection, do any of you use ODBII scanners to collect data to spreadsheets?
I bought a cheap scanner a few years ago for some Android app and tossed it into a box shortly after. I found it about 6-8 months back after reading about the Dash channel over on IFTTT.com (app now called IF) and now use that scanner to collect data on my trips and send that data to the spreaadsheet over on Google Drive.
Date & time, starting & ending location, weather, GPS coordinates, Dash rating for that trip, miles driven, mpg and which vehicle used. It is a data collector's DREAM.

IFTTT recipes can also can log your vehicles codes to your Google calendar. (Recipe # Recipe ID 14969524)
Anyone else use something similar or know of any other recipes I might have missed? I need more data! LOL
