1997 Saturn S-Series Specifications ...

Hello -

This is not a car review per se, just a dump of the stats for the 1997 Saturn model year. This is usefull because I have found stuff like the gear ratio of the transmissions.

Sorry if the images are a little off, the brochure got wet at some time in the last 10 years.

Good Post.. I've a 1996 SL2 so I assume the specs are identical.

I wonder if there is a difference in fuel capacity between 1996 and 1997.. I could swear mine only holds ~10-11 gallons, every time it is below "E" I can only get 10 gallons in it, in fact, I've never pumped over 10 gallons in it looking at the three year history of fill ups. (tracking on line has benefits!)

I want to start getting 300+ miles per fill up, right now, I'm averaging 260 or about 26MPG, shooting for the elusive 30MPG, of course I already know if I just changed the way I drove and turned the A/C off I'd probably 75% of the way there.
