yup, since I started looking for a civic vx a few months back, I have discovered the wonders of craigslist. (I am currently saving my pennies so when I actually find one I can be the first to jump on it!)
However I have had better luck with vx's on craiglist then insights. I think it's the significant difference in asking price
we have a couple WTBs for the vx and have even listed my hubby's audi on it: http://annarbor.craigslist.org/car/344088982.html
I should probably go post it in the for sale forum - I've been a bit lazy lately.
However the TT did get 31 mpg last fill up, it's happier in the warmer weather, like most cars

Insights For Sale

Yesterday I was at a clean-air car show in Pasadena California. I spoke to a gentleman named Clark Thomas who restores Honda Insights. He buys crashed cars as well as ones with serious driveline problems and fixes them. He has a series of parts cars. He has sold a large number of Insights and they typically sell for $8K for a car with roughly 100K miles in good restored condition. On the down side a number of the titles are salvage. He is also a great resource for parts. He knows these cars inside and out.

Here is his contact info:
Clark Thomas

thanks for the info!
however since the insights were so hard to find and even if he bought one, I was still determined to build a vx hatchback, my hubby picked up a honda s2000 instead.
needless to say, he is very happy with it!
have a good one

This is a GREAT site for searching multiple CraigsLists.

www.crazedlist.org

It saves a lot of time.
