I'm not sure where exactly Tomo is in Minnisota, but on Craigslist there is a set of 4 for $120, I haven't gotten any responce from the guy yet, they would be about an hour and a half drive from me, and I don't need them that bad as i already have one set, so I only sent the guy one Email.

That's actually right near me. I don't think it's the same guy on MNSC that is selling them either. I suppose if the sellers don't want to ship I could always pick them up and ship them if paid to do so. Just a thought.

I found a set in houston for $190 picked up in NW Houston....new tires.

Should I run these instead of my 13" aluminum volkswagon wheels? Remember it's $190....

They are on craigslist

Assuming the rims are true with new tires you can't really beat that.

Then you got to factor in how far it is from you and whether or not you are willing to travel etc.

The guy dropped his price to $180. I just can't decide whether I should spend the money on vx wheels or save for college?

I do like my scirocco wheels--they are just hard to clean because they have that "wafflecone" pattern that is so hard to get my fingers into....

I'm in NW houston right now so they aren't far at all.

I'll buy and ship for price if someone on gassavers is interested.....

If you can afford it, go ahead. But when it comes to edumacation, it's worth more than any car or project.

By the way... i like your train of thought. sell them for more to get some college funding!!! Genuine noggin!

I have just picked up 5, yes 5, VX rims. I am in the process of cleaning them up and will be selling them after I'm done cleaning them. I should be posting them up some time before or on Friday this week. Jsut a heads up for anyone looking for a full set plus full size spare.
